Getting Here
Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport (CHO) is about 20 minutes from the farm. Richmond (RIC) is roughly 1.5 hours and Washington Dulles (IAD) about 2 hours, both with more flight options. A rental car is the easiest way to reach Free Union.
Make a Weekend of It
Thomas Jefferson's mountaintop home and gardens — about 30 minutes from the farm.
Charlottesville's brick pedestrian mall — restaurants, shops, and live music at the Pavilion.
Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park are a short, gorgeous drive west.
Some of Virginia's best vineyards, cideries, and breweries are minutes from Free Union.

We'd love to celebrate with everyone, but our venue limits us to the guests named on your invitation. Your invitation will say “and guest” if a plus-one is included.
We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope the advance notice helps you plan a fun night out!
Garden formal — suits, cocktail dresses, or floor-length gowns. The ceremony is outdoors on grass, so consider block heels or flats. Evenings in the mountains can be cool; a light layer is a good idea.
Yes — free parking on site at Tiffin Farm. If you plan to enjoy the bar, consider a designated driver or rideshare back to Charlottesville.
The celebration moves under cover at the farm — same schedule, same address, still beautiful.
We're having an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones tucked away until after the kiss. Our photographer will share photos with everyone afterward, and we'd love your candids from the reception!
